Snap opens up a big lane between the LG and LT, Newhouse on the carry.
Big gain gets the Cowboys a 1st and 10 and the Eagles 20.
Eagles go to a 3-4 trying to stop the dominating run game.

Blackmore misses for the 1st time too and Dorsett is out of bounds at the 4.

Eagles opportunity to tie it and send it into overtime. 1st and 10 at their own 29 after the Cowboys punt.

Harvey Martin gets him for a 6-yard loss.

Krepfle comes open, but again Jaworski misses (did I say my passing needs work?).
4th down and 7. Do or die. First down, or the game is over.
Charlie Smith wide open (to the left), but everyone else absolutely covered up. It would require a 20-yard completion, or Jaworski could scramble, but Martin is not engaged and could be pivoted and would likely sack Jaworski. So, he takes his shot at smith.
The pass is completed to Krepfle (by accident… did I say I need to work on passing?), he is down immediately, 9 yards short of the first down. The Doomday defense doesn’t allow a first down, and the Cowboys defeat the Eagles, to advance, by a score of 7-0.
