Vic Washington bursts into the open.

Washington tackled at Dolphins 26-yard line.

2 consecutive running plays netted -3 yards. 3rd and 13 at the 29.

Vern Den Herder sacks Brodie and forces the fumble recovered by Miami.

Griese to Howard Tilley for a 4-yard gain.

Completed pass to Warfield for 7 yards and a first down.

Bob Griese to Warfield again, first down 49ers 30.

Griese to Kiick to the 20.

Griese to Noonan for the score and a 7-7 halftime score.

2nd Half

Mercury Morris for 4 yards

Noonan gets wide open on a blown coverage.

Boom… Griese and Noonan connect.

Miami takes a 14-7 lead.

Washington gets turned around for only a short gain.

No one open so Brodie chooses to run off the scramble.

Dick Anderson amazes with closing speed and holds him to no gain.

Though it’s 3rd and 8 there is a wide-open gap up the middle and Brodie can’t pass it up.

Stopped short of the first down, 49ers have to punt.

Csonka only gets a yard.

49ers playing pass but make the mistake of having the middle linebacker in zone.

The result is a back-breaking gain by Griese, all the way to the 49ers 22-yard line.

Looks wide open running for Csonka

Noonan comes wide open, could this be the game?

Decide to go stick.

Crushing (for Dolphins fans) missed throw. On to 3rd down.

Morris comes WIDE open over the middle.

Not depending on a stick this time.
